We have closely followed CDC guidelines to fully equip our properties, employees, and guests with the guidelines and processes recommended by officials.

Enhanced Cleaning Standards

We have implemented the CDC’s recommended cleaning standards for all apartments, properties, and offices.

  • Every GLS apartment is thoroughly cleaned between guests, and all common areas, meeting rooms, and on-site facilities are fully sanitized in accordance with CDC guidelines to ensure cleanliness and disinfection.
  • All GLS apartment surfaces are cleaned and disinfected using CDC-recommended cleaning agents, including tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, door and cabinet handles, desks, phones, remotes, keyboards, toilets, faucets, sinks, etc.
  • We are investing in new disinfectant spray technology to be used in each apartment between guests.
  • The GLS cleaning division is taking additional measures to steam, sanitize, and clean all furnishings , upholstered items, and housewares before they are delivered to customers.

Contactless Check-In

GLS properties offer significantly more isolation and privacy than hotels, with far less foot traffic within the building and new standards to avoid crowding in common areas.

  • We continue to offer contactless check-in and check-out processes where possible, limiting direct interaction between employees and guests, as well as preventing crowding in the lobby areas.
  • Many of our apartments are equipped with keyless entry technology, so there’s no need for an exchange of keys or keycards.

24/7 Guest Support

As always, our customer service team is available by phone 24/7 to serve guests and answer any questions they may have. Our Guest Services Specialists and maintenance teams are on site to assist with any immediate requests.

New Health & Safety Measures

GLS employees and vendors are now required to wear masks on site or when interacting when guests. This includes cleaning and maintenance personnel and Guest Services Specialists.

Temperature Check

GLS employees will have their temperature checked each morning to ensure no signs of fever are present.

24-Hour Buffer Between Guests

We have instated a 24-hour buffer period between guest check-in and check-out of apartments whenever possible.

Increased Booking & Cancellation Flexibility

We know that uncertain times come with uncertain travel and work plans. We’re standing by to help secure accommodations that meet your needs near major government installations, medical facilities, and key areas of travel, and offering a flexible cancellation policy for all bookings during COVID-19 so you don’t have to worry when plans change.
